Hi! I’m Kim Wilch

I’m Kim Wilch of One More Exclamation—award-winning author, lifelong book lover, creative soul, and enthusiastic hobby collector! I’ve published five books and appear in three anthologies. I’m a book reviewer for several popular publishers and indie authors.

I live in Nebraska with my husband of (almost) forty years, one spoiled pooch, two litter-box-trained bunnies, and a duck who quacks me up. I’m also a mom of two and a grandma to four special humans.

When I’m not writing, I’m volunteering, camping, traveling, taking photos, or crafting. If it involves creativity or adventure, count me in!

My first children’s book, PETER THE TURTLE CAN’T POOP, climbed to #1 in ten categories. While laughing, children will learn the importance of friendship, healthy eating, and putting litter in a bin.

WTF DUCK (Why The Frown), is an adult picture book with no curse words. Sarcasm shines in this hilarious story as Duck navigates life’s challenging situations and rude people. How much can he handle before quacking up?

Don’t forget the WTF DUCK COMPANION JOURNAL with 100+ sarcastically humorous prompts and five coloring pages featuring scene sketches from the book.

ONCE UPON A PLATE is a culinary journey for little chefs inspired by picture books and their characters! Easy recipes, divided sections, kitchen safety tips, a conversion chart, and the comprehensive cooking glossary complete this cookbook for kids. Proceeds benefit charity!
